Why a coffee cart at a baby shower?
Baby showers are usually morning or afternoon events where guests linger over conversation, gifts, and games. A coffee cart elevates the whole experience — guests get handcrafted drinks instead of a Keurig setup, the cart photographs beautifully for the host's social media, and the mom-to-be gets a hospitality moment that feels designed for her instead of pulled from a shelf at Party City.
Can you do a gender-reveal drink?
Yes — and we love it. Two signature drinks (one pink, one blue) on the menu before the reveal, then we announce the gender by serving the reveal drink as the main offering for the rest of the party. We can also do colored latte art (pink or blue dust on foam) or a custom-printed reveal moment.
How much does a baby shower coffee cart cost?
Baby shower packages start at $750 for a 2-hour service window with one barista — perfect for showers of 25-50 guests. Most baby showers book 2-3 hours in the $750-$1,100 range. Custom branding (themed cups, signature drink menu) adds $75-$200. Smaller intimate showers may fit our 2-hour minimum perfectly.
What about the mom-to-be who can't have caffeine?
We always offer decaf espresso (real shots, not instant) and half-caf options. Our menu also includes hot chocolate, chai, matcha lattes (low caffeine), Italian sodas, and steamed milk drinks. We make sure the guest of honor has plenty of options designed for her.
Can you set up in someone's home?
Most baby showers happen in homes, and we set up in kitchens, dining rooms, garages, backyards, or front porches regularly. We need a flat surface and a power outlet within 50 feet. We bring our own everything else — including a cleanup that leaves the space spotless.
Can you customize cups with the baby's name?
Yes. We offer custom-stickered cups with the baby's name, due date, shower theme, or gender-reveal colors. Lead time is 2-3 weeks for stickered cups; for full-print custom cups we need 4-6 weeks. Many hosts also ask for the cups to double as a keepsake for guests to take home.
How early should I book?
Baby shower season peaks in spring and early summer. Book 4-6 weeks ahead to lock in your Saturday or Sunday afternoon time slot. Weekday showers (sometimes hosted by colleagues) can book closer to the date.
Will the cart work for a co-ed or 'sprinkle' shower?
Yes. A coffee cart is one of the few baby shower elements that works equally well for everyone — coffee for the dads, hot chocolate for kids, signature drinks for the women. We've done many co-ed showers and 'sprinkles' (showers for second babies) and the cart fits both formats naturally.
