How It Started
Solo Coffee Cart was founded by Hannah and Ryan Hill in June 2023 with a simple belief: great coffee is better when it comes to you. What started as a shared dream between two coffee lovers has grown into one of the most trusted mobile espresso services in the Midwest.
The idea was born three thousand miles from Cincinnati. Hannah and Ryan briefly lived in the Bay Area, where specialty coffee culture isn't just a trend — it's a way of life. Coffee carts at farmers markets, corporate campuses, and weekend events were everywhere, and the experience stuck with them. When they moved back to the Cincinnati area, they couldn't shake the idea: why doesn't this exist here?
Hannah had been looking for a creative outlet that matched her passion for coffee, and Ryan saw the potential to build something meaningful together. So they did. From the ground up, they built a mobile coffee cart business that brings the full specialty coffee experience to events across Ohio and Kentucky.
The Team Behind the Cart
Hannah is the coffee expert. With over a decade of barista experience at specialty coffee shops — from independent roasters in Northern Kentucky to acclaimed cafes in the San Francisco Bay Area — she knows what it takes to make a genuinely great cup of coffee and how to create an experience around it. Every drink Solo serves reflects her standards: pulled, steamed, and poured with the same precision you'd expect from the best specialty shops in the region.
Ryan handles the business side — operations, sales, and logistics. From coordinating event schedules across seven service areas to making sure every detail is covered before the first shot is pulled, he keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Together, their skills are complementary. Hannah brings the craft and the deep knowledge of specialty coffee. Ryan brings the structure and the drive to grow the business. It's a partnership that works because they each bring something different to the table — and they share the same commitment to doing things right.

We've served over 315 events since launching, and we've learned that what people remember isn't just the coffee — it's how they felt getting it.
That's why hospitality is at the center of everything we do. Every guest who walks up to our cart gets a genuine conversation, not a rushed transaction. We learn names. We ask about preferences. If someone wants something that's not on the menu, we figure out how to make it happen. For recurring corporate clients, we remember the regulars and their go-to orders.
It sounds simple, but it changes the entire experience. We've had event planners tell us their guests spent more time at the coffee cart than anywhere else — not because the line was long, but because people were enjoying themselves.

Our focus is espresso-based drinks done exceptionally well. Lattes, cappuccinos, cortados, americanos — the classics, made with care and precision. We also offer cold brew, matcha, chai, and seasonal specials that keep things fresh for returning clients.
Beyond the drinks, we bring something most coffee catering services can't: a latte art printer that puts your company logo, wedding monogram, or custom design right on top of every latte. It's the kind of detail that turns a coffee break into a moment people actually talk about.
Every event is different, and we build our service around yours. Custom branded cups, full cart wraps to match your aesthetic, flexible menus tailored to your guests and the season — we handle all of it. We arrive early, manage everything from setup to teardown, and leave no trace. We're fully insured and bonded, because professionalism means being prepared for everything.
