Solo Coffee Cart (“we,” “us”) is a mobile espresso catering business run by Hannah and Ryan Hill. This page explains what information our website at solocoffeecart.com collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. If anything here is unclear, email us at contact@solocoffeecart.com.
Information you give us
Booking inquiry form. The quote form on our Book Us page and homepage is provided by Cortado, a booking platform, and loads from form.cortado.pro. What you type there (such as your name, email, phone number, event date, location, guest count and notes) is collected by Cortado on our behalf so we can prepare your quote. Cortado's own privacy policy also applies to that form.
Contact form. Our contact page asks for your name, email, phone number and message. We send that information through Resend, an email delivery service, to our inbox, and Resend also emails you a copy as a confirmation.
Calls, texts and emails. If you call, text or email us, we keep that conversation so we can follow up on your event.
We use this information to answer your questions, prepare quotes, plan and staff your event, and keep records of bookings.
Analytics and advertising
We use a few third-party tools to understand how the site is used and whether our ads lead to real inquiries:
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. These record pages viewed, general device and browser details, approximate location, and actions such as clicking our phone number, sending a text, clicking a quote button, or completing an inquiry. Google sets cookies (for example
_gaand_gcl_au) to do this. - Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API. The Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel records page views and sets cookies such as
_fbpand_fbc. When you submit an inquiry, our server may also tell Meta that a lead happened. That message can include your IP address, browser user agent, the page address, and the Meta cookie values. If you used our contact form, it also includes your email address and phone number, which are converted to a one-way hash (SHA-256) before they leave our server, so Meta receives a scrambled code rather than the plain text. Your name and message are never sent to Meta. - Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights. Our hosting provider, Vercel, measures page visits and page loading speed. These tools do not use cookies.
- Bot protection. Our contact form uses Vercel BotID, which checks signals from your browser when you submit the form to tell people apart from automated spam.
After an inquiry, the site stores a small flag in your browser's session storage so the same inquiry isn't counted twice if you refresh the thank-you page. It is cleared when you close the tab.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage ad preferences in your Google and Meta account settings. The site works without these cookies.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above, which help us run the site, take inquiries and measure our advertising, and when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and booking details for as long as we need them to serve you and keep normal business records. Analytics and advertising data is kept according to the settings and policies of Google, Meta and Vercel.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we have about you. Email contact@solocoffeecart.com with your request and we'll take care of it. We may need to keep some records, such as invoices for a booked event, where the law requires.
Children
Our website is meant for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
